Weddings

We want you to enjoy the wedding experience at Rip Van Winkle Gardens; therefore, we treat your wedding as though it were our own. Experience has taught us that special attention to all of the details is the best way to ensure customer satisfaction. Our staff can assist you with all your bridal needs: bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner, reception, and a romantic night at one of our Acadian style Bed and Breakfast Cottages.

Facility Rentals

Facility rentals for Wedding/Receptions at Rip Van Winkle Gardens include the use of the Bayless Center or the Cafe Jefferson and a specified garden area and kitchen for a four-hour period unless otherwise provided in your contract. For set-up, you are guaranteed access to these facilities from 7:00 AM until time of your scheduled four-hour rental, other arrangements can be made with the management.

Rip Van Winkle Gardens will take care of all your catering and beverage needs. Customized menus can be made to fit your budget by our approved caterers.

A 50% deposit on rental fees is required in order to confirm your date. All deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance of the facility rental charge, food and beverage charges, and all equipment rentals is due thirty days prior to your function.

Caterers

The planning of your menu and special services for your food selections will be complete with the help of our consultant. There are numerous ways to serve your guest buffet items, formal brunches, lunches and dinners with abundant menus to choose from. The quality of the food and beverage service is unsurpassed and the exquisite preparation of our foods delight the eye as well as the palate. Beverage service is generally stopped 20-30 minutes before the end of your event so that all will have last call. Give us an idea of your budget per person for your event and we can customize several menus for you.

Bar Service

No liquor is allowed to be brought into our facility. All Beverage services must be done through Rip Van Winkle Gardens.

Wine and Beer Bar
Includes a red wine and white wine, your choice of two different brands of beer, bartender service, ice, wine glasses, drink napkins, soft drinks and bottled water

Wine, Champagne
Includes red and white wine, champagne; bartender service, ice, wine glasses, champagne flutes, drink napkins, soft drinks and bottled water

Open Bar
Includes premium brand liquor, wine, champagne, two choices of beer and all mixes for a standard bar, bartender service, ice, high ball glasses, wine glasses, champagne flutes, and drink napkins

Non-Alcohol Service
Includes cokes, diet cokes, bottled water, punch, sparkling grape juice, beverage servers, ice, beverage glasses, drink napkins

Additional Rentals

The rental of the Bayless Conference Center includes use of the following items inside of the Bayless Center at no additional charge:

• 16 - 6ft Tables rectangle with white table cloths
• 13 - 48 inch round tables with white table cloths
• 300 Chairs one piece seat and back (black) with chrome legs and frame

To further enhance your function at Rip Van Winkle Gardens, the following are available at an additional charge. Delivery and set up charge will be added to the rental price.
